Couples Therapy
You don't have to be on the brink. Most of the couples I see love each other and just can't find their way back to each other right now.
Couples therapy →I'm Anna Sherman, a Registered Psychotherapist in Toronto. I work with couples, individuals, and new and expecting mothers — in person in Toronto, or online across Ontario.
Couples and maternal mental health are my deepest specialties — but the practice covers the full arc of what people bring through the door.

I've been practicing as a Registered Psychotherapist since 2018. Before that, I trained in Marriage and Family Therapy at Touro University. Since then I've kept training — Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and maternal mental health certification through Postpartum Support International.
I'm also the author of The Empowered Woman's Journal and a clinical supervisor for therapists in training. What probably matters more to you: I'll meet you where you actually are — not where you think you should be.

We'll slow down and get a real picture of what's going on. You don't have to know where to start.

The short fuse nobody warned you about — what it is, why it happens, and what helps.

The stuff you inherited, the reason it's still running the show, and what it takes to put it down.

What each approach actually does, and why I use both in the same room.
