A little about me

I'm warm, I'm direct, and I won't waste your time.

I've been practicing as a Registered Psychotherapist since 2018. Before that, I trained in Marriage and Family Therapy at Touro University. Since then I've kept training — Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and maternal mental health certification through Postpartum Support International.

I'm also the author of The Empowered Woman's Journal and a clinical supervisor for therapists in training. What probably matters more to you: I'll meet you where you actually are — not where you think you should be.

How I work

Evidence-based methods. Used only where they actually fit.

  • For couples — Gottman + EFT Gottman gives us structure, communication skills, and repair tools. EFT gives us attachment and emotion. Most couples need both.
  • For trauma and stuck patterns — EMDR + IFS These let us work on things that talk therapy alone sometimes can't reach — including intergenerational and religious trauma.
  • For maternal mental health — PSI-certified care Support across the full arc: trying to conceive, pregnancy, postpartum, and the first years of motherhood.
  • Threaded throughout — CBT, psychodynamic, mindfulness Used where they fit. I'll never throw a modality at you for the sake of it.

Frequently asked

The questions people usually want to ask first.

Do you offer in-person and online sessions?

Yes. In person in Toronto, and online anywhere in Ontario. Many of my clients do online even when they live nearby — it works.

Are you taking new clients?

Usually. Book a free consult and I'll tell you honestly, and if I'm full I'll point you toward someone I trust.

I've never been to therapy. Is that okay?

Most of my new clients haven't. Yes. There's nothing you need to prepare.

How long is a session?

50 minutes for individuals. 60–80 minutes for couples.

What if I'm not sure I'm ready?

Then start with the free consult. There's no commitment after it, and you'll know more than you do now.

If you're reading this far, you're probably closer to ready than you think.

Start with a 30-minute call. No session booked. No commitment. Just a conversation.
